Yapay zekâ platformlarının özel asistanları, yani ChatGPT’nin GPT’leri, Gemini’nin Gem’leri ve Claude’un Projeleri, uzun süre kendi platformlarına bağlı kaldı. Bu makale, açık Agent Skills standardı çevresinde başlayan buluşmayı Aydın Tiryaki’nin sekiz aylık Gem üretim deneyimi üzerinden ele alıyor. Yüze yakın Gem’in yordamlara dönüştürülmesi, üretim sistemi ile üretilen yordamın model gereksinimlerinin farklı olduğunu gösteriyor.

ENGLISH
The custom assistants offered by AI platforms, namely ChatGPT’s GPTs, Gemini’s Gems and Claude’s Projects, have long been tied to their own platforms. This article examines the convergence now taking shape around the open Agent Skills standard, through Aydın Tiryaki’s eight months of experience building Gems. Converting nearly a hundred Gems into skills shows that a production system and the skills it produces have different model requirements. The common standard, however, does not guarantee the same behaviour: description limits, naming rules, the number of active skills and the structure of long instructions all vary between platforms. The article argues that for long instructions the real issue is architecture rather than limits, and presents this as a hypothesis still to be tested.
The article was produced through an iterative review cycle between ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. During this process each of the three AI systems made a different kind of error, and each error was caught by another’s scrutiny. The same process revealed that two of Anthropic’s official documents contradict each other, leading to the conclusion that even official documentation should be recorded with access dates and checked against real tests. The article also proposes a Turkish term for “Skills”: instead of “beceri”, the word now taking hold in Turkish interfaces, it suggests “yapay zekâ yordamı” (AI procedure), rooted in the Turkish software term “altyordam” (subroutine), and expects it to shorten over time to “yordam”. The handling of Turkish characters in technical names, constraints on distribution and sharing, and a plan for cross-platform compatibility tests complete the picture.
