Bu makale, endüstriyel futbolda sezon sonuna doğru iddiaları kalmayan “hedefsiz takımların” yarattığı motivasyon kaybını ve sportif adaletsizliği önlemek amacıyla geliştirilen “3. Devre Modeli” reformunu sunmaktadır. Öneri; 18 takımlı bir ligde 34 haftalık normal sezonun ardından, puan tablosunun altışarlı üç gruba (A-B-C) bölünerek 5 haftalık tek devreli bir final aşaması oynanması esasına dayanır. Mevcut 20 takımlı düzenin 38 haftalık takvimine karşılık sadece 39 hafta süren bu modelde, normal sezon puanları ve disiplin cezaları aynen korunur; saha avantajı liyakate göre adilce dağıtılır. Modelin en özgün yönü, uç noktaları (ilk 5 ve son 5 sırayı) koruma altında tutarak şampiyonluk ve küme düşme adaletini izole ederken, 6-7. ve 12-13. sıralar arasında kurduğu “Sınır Geçiş Koridoru” sayesinde orta sıralardaki rekabeti ve yayın reytingini son saniyeye kadar zirvede tutmasıdır.

This article presents the “3rd Half Model” reform, developed to eliminate the motivational crisis and sporting injustice caused by “aimless teams” toward the end of industrial football seasons. Based on an 18-team league structure, the model proposes that following a 34-week regular season, the standings are split into three tiers of six (Groups A-B-C) to play a 5-week single round-robin final phase. Requiring only 39 weeks compared to the 38-week calendar of the current 20-team system, this model fully carries over regular-season points and disciplinary records while distributing home-field advantage based on merit. The most unique feature of the reform is the “Boundary Transition Corridor” established between the 6th–7th and 12th–13th positions; while keeping the extreme ends (the top 5 and bottom 5 spots) completely isolated to safeguard the integrity of the championship and relegation zones, it stimulates mid-table competition and maximizes broadcasting ratings until the very last second.
