The stages of transforming an idea into a project and the role of information technology tools.
Introduction
This article explores how a simple idea can be evolved into a full-fledged project by leveraging the opportunities provided by the software and internet ecosystem. The process was designed to demonstrate how the internet and artificial intelligence can be utilized effectively during the stages of generating a proposal, making it presentable, and submitting it to relevant authorities.
Preparation and Content Creation
Initially, an appropriate environment for writing was selected. Instead of traditional typing, the text was generated in Microsoft Word using the dictation feature via a microphone. The resulting output was essentially a “raw heap of words.” To transform this into a structured and coherent text, Microsoft Copilot was employed. Personal refinements were then made to Copilot’s draft, emphasizing the vital role of the “human-in-the-loop” factor in the process. Due to Copilot’s high performance in editing, only minor corrections were necessary.
Drafting Letters and Evaluation Documents
The next phase involved drafting the formal letters to be submitted to the relevant organizations. An English letter was prepared for an international organization, while a Turkish version was drafted for a local institution in Türkiye. In addition to ensuring these letters followed formal conventions—including dates and signatures—sections evaluating the pros and cons of the proposal were also included. All these requirements were compiled into a “prompt” and presented to various AI models.
Utilization of Artificial Intelligence Models
The prepared prompt and the core idea were sent to seven different AI models via their web interfaces: Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Deepseek, Perplexity, Claude, and Google NotebookLM. Other ecosystem components, such as YouTube and Google Translate, were also integrated into the workflow. The responses from each AI were categorized under specific headings and added to the final document, comprising four distinct outputs: explanations, Turkish and English letters, and comments regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the proposal.
Compiling and Publishing Results
Once all responses were gathered, the text was uploaded to Google NotebookLM to obtain a brief evaluation, which was subsequently added to the article. A concise conclusion was also appended to the end. This resulted in a comprehensive and integrated long-form article, which was then published on WordPress in a blog format.
Presentation and Multimedia Content Production
During the presentation phase, Google NotebookLM was used to generate a summary video and an audio narration, resulting in an approximately 6-minute video and a 20-minute audio commentary. The introductory text was narrated using internet-based tools; specifically, the “Read Aloud” feature in Google Chrome’s reading mode was captured via the Windows Sound Recorder. Visuals were captured from the screen and refined using Adobe Photoshop Express, while the final video editing was performed in Adobe Premiere.
Production of Visual and Video Content
For visual generation, experiments were conducted with Gemini and ChatGPT, ultimately utilizing an image created by ChatGPT’s DALL-E integration. This image was then converted into a video using the Grok AI, and various versions with different annotations were produced. All audio explanations, video clips, and visual materials were synchronized in Adobe Premiere, and the final video was uploaded to YouTube.
Post-Publication Processes and Language Support
Automatic Turkish subtitles were added to the primary video on YouTube, followed by a manual review to correct any technical inaccuracies. The English version was automatically generated based on the Turkish translation and refined accordingly. YouTube also automatically generated an English voiceover. Furthermore, multilingual subtitle options were provided through YouTube’s automated translation feature.
Submission of Proposals and Conclusion
The prepared letters and evaluation texts were compiled into a separate Turkish article to be sent to the institution in Türkiye and published on WordPress, with links provided back to the main source. The English sections were prepared as a series of open letters for international submission and were published in the same manner. Ultimately, through the effective use of the IT ecosystem, a small idea was transformed into a clear, professional, and engaging project. Every stage was documented through individual posts and finalized with comprehensive presentations.
Social Media Distribution
Various social media platforms were utilized to share the published articles and videos. To reach interested audiences, posts were shared on Facebook, X (Twitter), and Bluesky using the Jetpack mobile app and YouTube integration. The specific posts containing the letters were sent to X (Twitter) by tagging the relevant national and international organizations to whom the proposals were addressed.

This project directly utilized a vast array of digital tools and platforms, effectively creating a personalized IT ecosystem: Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Deepseek, Perplexity, Claude, Google NotebookLM, YouTube, Google Translate, Google Chrome, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Express, MS Word, WordPress, Jetpack, MS Windows Sound Recorder, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Bluesky. Additionally, numerous other tools and platforms were utilized indirectly.
General Evaluation
The primary objective of this process was to practically demonstrate how a minor idea can evolve into a significant project by harnessing the capabilities of a modern IT ecosystem.
