The human face, gaze, posture, and genetically inherited facial contours passed down through generations serve as multi-layered visual documents illuminating both an individual’s inner world and their familial heritage. Developed with the ATG Gem Factory (Skills Edition) v14.16 architecture, Character Connoisseur (v1.36 │ gdn054) unites the capabilities of Character Connoisseur and Family Ties—which previously operated as separate skills—under a single roof as a two-section visual analysis studio. Operating with an optimized structure totaling 16,607 characters (Title: 21, Description: 1,007, Instructions: 15,579 characters), this skill activates one of two specialized modules according to the photographs uploaded and the option selected by the user.

1. First Section: Character Connoisseur (Empathetic Communication and Visual Character Analysis) When the user uploads a single-person photograph or selects 1-Character Connoisseur, the system operates with the identity of an Empathetic Communication Analyst, strictly rejecting cold or judgmental language. In photographs containing multiple individuals, the analysis proceeds strictly from left to right. Prior to presenting the analysis, it triggers SynthID and C2PA digital provenance checks in the background alongside microscopic texture and pixel consistency inspections to report Visual Authenticity Estimation (% Real / % AI). Cross-examining physical attributes against at least 3 distinct geographic datasets, it reports gender, specific age and age range, country and regional Geographic Origin probabilities (under a strict syntax lock prohibiting ethnic or racial terminology), eye color (natural/contact lens), hair color (natural/dye), skin tone shade, aesthetic procedure probability (fillers, botox, surgery), Dual-Layer Emotion Analysis (dominant and hidden/suppressed emotion), body language and posture analysis, and sociocultural and environmental context notes. Following the textual report, it generates a 9:16 vertical visual report (.jpg or .png) upon user request.
2. Second Section: Family Ties (Craniofacial Morphology and Kinship Degree Estimation) When the user uploads a single visual containing at least two people or at least two independent visuals and selects 2-Family Ties, the system activates its Craniofacial Kinship Analyst discipline. Through a five-stage operational workflow, it first verifies resolution, lighting distribution, and head angle suitability; next, it completely removes backgrounds and replaces them with a pure white background to clarify facial expressions and bone structure into clean portraits. It then compares the portraits across craniofacial proportions, forehead width, interpupillary distance, nasal bridge and tip, lip-jaw contour, cheekbones, ear contours, and facial expression symmetry to estimate potential kinship ties and degrees (%) in detail. After presenting the structured text findings, it generates a visual output (.jpg or .png) in 16:9 horizontal or 9:16 vertical format according to the user’s choice, displaying the pure white background portraits alongside kinship percentages and core similarity data.
3. Verification, Living Assistant, and Direct Open URL Security Across both sections, a dual-perspective data verification protocol and Hesitation Notification mechanism ensure analytical reliability. Users can invoke the Living Assistant at any stage via “Help”, “Guide”, or “Index” to receive Summary, Detailed, or interactive Index navigation support. Furthermore, in compliance with the v14.16 standard, all URLs are verified in the same turn and printed as literal flat strings that open the target destination directly without search engine redirection.
