Micro-Justice and the Balance of Social Aid: Distinguishing Humanitarian Obligation from Economic Disparity

Aydın Tiryaki (2026)

Introduction In “The Great Reckoning” project, social justice requires the tracking of every cent; however, this tracking must be filtered through the lenses of “human dignity” and “special needs.” While transfers from public resources affect the scales of justice at a micro level, a sharp distinction must be made between “economic aid under normal conditions” and “humanitarian obligations arising from special circumstances.” This article defines the system’s fine-tuning through the clear boundary between these two categories.

1. Social Aid and Micro-Balancing

Poverty-based aid (food cards, fuel support, cash transfers) provided by the general budget or municipal budgets is processed as a micro-parameter in an individual’s social balance score.

  • The Honor Credit and Justice Distance: Between two individuals with the same level of economic disadvantage, the “Disadvantage Score” (credit) of the individual who refrains from requesting aid is preserved. Conversely, the score of the individual who receives aid is updated relative to the amount received. This keeps the “Honor Credit” of the non-recipient intact within the system, granting them priority in future rights (Turbo Positive Discrimination).

2. Areas Outside the Reckoning: Humanitarian Obligations

The most fundamental “red line” of the system involves expenditures made for mandatory conditions outside of normal living circumstances. The following items are never recorded as an “advantage” or a “score influencer”:

  • Disability Rights and Care: All financial and in-kind support provided to individuals with disabilities or their family caregivers is not considered a “repayment of debt” or a “subject of accounting” by the state. These supports are viewed solely as a requirement of fundamental human rights and remain entirely outside the system’s radar.
  • Elderly Care Support: Services and support provided due to old age cannot be recorded as an advantage. This reflects the society’s debt of gratitude to past generations and is not accepted as a data entry in the “Great Ledger.”
  • Special Needs Exemption: These types of support, required to maintain normal life functions, do not move the individual into the “advantaged” segment of society. On the contrary, the system defines these situations as a “sacred domain that must remain off the record.”

3. Rectifying Micro-Leaks and Equilibrium

The model prevents the formation of massive systemic imbalances by tracking economic-based aid, rather than ignoring small amounts.

  • Holistic Tracking: Excluding exceptions like disability and elderly care, all public transfers are tracked within a single pool, regardless of whether they originate from municipal or central budgets.
  • Conscientious Precision: Keeping humanitarian obligations (disability/elderly care) out of the calculation prevents the wounding of the collective conscience. In this way, the system balances only economic-based disparities without causing new forms of injustice.

4. Abuse Filters and Transparency

  • True Necessity Analysis: In cases that do not fall under humanitarian obligations (such as standard poverty aid), any attempts to deceive the system to receive aid are reflected as a “Net Debt,” multiplied by a “Public Trust Violation Coefficient.”
  • Political Independence: Recording aid as a “social transfer” mathematically prevents it from being utilized as “political patronage” or a tool for vote-gathering.

Conclusion While “The Great Reckoning” establishes the scales of justice with milligram precision, it does not view mercy and humanitarian responsibility as mere weights on those scales. By keeping special circumstances like disability and elderly care completely outside the reckoning, it protects the most vulnerable segments of society while delivering the social credit due to individuals who persevere with dignity. This model is the most rational bridge between the coldness of numbers and the warmth of conscience.
