Futbolda maç esnasında deforme olan penaltı noktası sorununa mühendislik temelli bir çözüm olarak, sabit bir nokta yerine 1 metre çapında bir “Penaltı Dairesi” önerilmektedir. Bu sistem, oyuncuya sadece bozuk zeminden kaçıp temiz bir alan seçme hakkı vermekle kalmaz; aynı zamanda izdüşüm kuralları dahilinde topu mevcut standart konuma göre net 61 cm daha öne, geriye veya yana taşıma esnekliği sunar. Böylece penaltı atışı, zemin şanssızlığından arınıp oyuncunun vuruş tarzına göre belirlediği stratejik bir geometriye dönüşür.

As an engineering solution to the problem of deteriorated penalty spots during matches, a 1-meter diameter “Penalty Circle” is proposed to replace the fixed point. This system not only grants the player the right to choose clean ground but also offers the flexibility—based on projection rules—to place the ball net 61 cm closer, further back, or laterally compared to the standard position. Thus, the penalty kick transforms from a matter of chance on a damaged pitch into a strategic geometric choice determined by the player’s shooting style.
