Traffic is the largest shared living space of modern society, and its rules are not merely technical regulations—they constitute a social contract. However, we are currently facing a mindset that deliberately tears this contract apart; a mindset that views traffic not as a means of transportation, but as a playground for primitive pleasures and egos. Against this mentality, the era of “warnings” or “fines” must end, and the era of “permanent expulsion from traffic” must begin.
Here are the five fundamental ethical violations that should never be forgiven and must result in a lifetime ban from driving:
1. Reckless Slalom (Weaving): A Deliberate Attempt at Assassination
Aggressive weaving (known as “makas atmak”) is not a mistake or a result of speed; it is a gamble taken with the lives of others for the sake of an ego boost. If a driver maneuvers through traffic with pleasure while creating extreme danger, they have severed their bond with society.
- The Ultimate Sanction: Any driver digitally proven to be weaving through traffic must be banned for life. The message should be clear: “You used traffic for personal gratification rather than transportation; therefore, you have forfeited this privilege forever.”
2. Street Racing: Arrogance in Public Spaces
Roads belong to everyone and exist solely for safe passage. The attempt by two or more vehicles to prove superiority over one another is a direct assault on public safety.
- Digital Diagnosis: In-vehicle “black box” systems and road sensors must algorithmically diagnose synchronized maneuvers as “racing” within seconds. Every driver involved must lose their right to drive for the rest of their lives.
3. Squeezing and Harassment: Asphalt Sadism
Deliberately squeezing another vehicle, driving toward them, or attempting to cause an accident for pleasure is a clinical moral failure. This is using a multi-ton metal mass as a weapon.
- The Human Necessity: Removing such individuals from traffic is not a human rights issue; it is a necessity for humanity to ensure the survival of innocent people. The penalty for this crime is an undisputed and irreversible lifetime revocation of the driver’s license.
4. Emergency Lane Misuse: Stealing the Right to Life
Misusing the emergency lane is stealing the critical seconds of a patient in an ambulance or a firefighter heading to a blaze. This is not “cleverness”; it is potential manslaughter.
- Justice Without Privilege: No title, no “strobe lights” (çakar), and no status can justify using this lane without a verified emergency order. Anyone misusing this lane must be digitally flagged and face permanent disqualification upon repeat offenses.
5. Assault on Pedestrian Rights: Power Trips
Pedestrian crossings are the civilization report card of a society. A driver failing to stop or intimidating a pedestrian by driving toward them is a violation of a vulnerable person’s safety and rights.
- Digital Monitoring: Every crossing—with or without lights—must be a “Digital Inspection Zone.” Any driver failing to yield must be identified instantly, and any move that risks a pedestrian’s life must signal the end of that individual’s driving life.
Conclusion: Traffic as a Test of Character and Ethics
As we have discussed, there is no place in society for those who turn into monsters behind the wheel. Those who violate the social contract for their own pleasure must pay the ultimate price.
The Proposed Digital Solution Package:
- Mandatory In-Vehicle Recording Devices: Unshakeable monitoring that reports every violation to a central AI-supported traffic brain.
- Instant Notification: An immediate “Your driving privileges have been terminated” notification sent to the driver’s system at the moment of violation.
- Irreversible Sanctions: The loss of “authority and time”—a permanent ban that no amount of money can buy back.
This radical approach is the only way to transform traffic from a “law of the jungle” back into a space of civilization.
