The deep dialogues we have conducted with Gemini, Google’s ambitious AI, reveal the most ironic contradiction of modern technology: We are faced with a “superior intelligence” core processor capable of analyzing massive data sets in seconds; however, this processor is imprisoned by “interface modules” that perform far below its actual capacity.
1. “Sayamamış” or “Sayamadığım”? The Perception Barrier at the Input Layer
The weakest link in Gemini is the Speech-to-Text (STT) unit, which converts the user’s voice into text. While analyzing the gap in population data and administrative incapacity following the 2023 earthquake, the term I used, “Sayamamış” (referring to an institutional/administrative failure), is persistently recorded by Gemini as “Sayamadığım” (a personal expression).
This is not a simple pronunciation error. Gemini’s input layer, instead of directly processing the words carefully chosen by the user, imposes its own “statistical probabilities” from its database. This situation causes Gemini’s genius-level analytical power to be restricted by a “data entry filter” that is disconnected from the context.
2. A Factory with Perfect Production but Faulty Logistics
If we evaluate Gemini through an engineering analogy: Imagine a massive factory with perfect production and an R&D department operating at a genius level. However, the Procurement Department (Input) of this factory accepts the wrong raw materials, and the Shipping Department (Output) damages the quality of the final product while delivering it to the customer.
No matter how sharp the analyses performed by the high-capacity processor inside are, the lack of coordination between Gemini’s “discrete” units drags down the overall efficiency of the system.
3. The IQ Scorecard: 125 Potential, 81 Performance
When we rate the different layers of Gemini on a performance-based IQ scale, the resulting systemic bottleneck can be mathematically summarized as follows:
| Gemini Unit | Task | Estimated IQ | Performance Result |
| Input (STT) | Data Acquisition | 60 – 70 | The input module that incorrectly labels “Sayamamış” as “Sayamadığım”. |
| Core | Analysis | 125 – 140 | The genius processor that solves complex data sets and mass balances. |
| Output (TTS) | Voice Synthesis | 50 | The context-blind voice engine that hallucinate “TL” as “Teralitre”. |
When we take the systemic average of these units, Gemini, which has a core intelligence of 125 (Superior Intelligence), exhibits a limited performance from the perspective of the outside world:
Gemini System Average = (70 [Input] + 125 [Core] + 50 [Output]) / 3 = ~80
4. How Does “TL” Become “Teralitre”? Context Blindness
The most severe error in Gemini’s output unit (TTS) is its disconnection of data from its context. A voice engine that vocalizes the abbreviation “TL” (Turkish Lira) as “teralitre” (with a single ‘r’, meaning trillion liters) without considering that the subject is a financial analysis is not a technological advancement but a failure of logic. Imagine a genius (Gemini Core) speaking to the world only through a limited loudspeaker; no matter how deep the analysis is, the output unit whispers technical errors like “teralitre” to the outside.
Sonuç: Integration is Mandatory for Gemini
For Gemini to reach its true potential, it must break free from this “fragmented” structure. The unification of input (perception), brain (analysis), and output (expression) into a single entity (Native Multimodal) is no longer a luxury but an engineering necessity. Otherwise, Gemini’s genius processor will continue to misinterpret the user and produce erroneous data under the constraints created by low-performance interfaces.
