The core mission of the DFM is to reconfigure the second half of a league based on real-time performance, ensuring “maximum competition” and “procedural fairness.”

• Performance-Based Hierarchy: While the first half of the season follows a traditional random draw, the second half is constructed using “Blocks” and “Groups” determined by mid-season standings.
• Phased Matchmaking: The algorithm guides teams through three distinct phases: the Classification Marathon (inter-block matches), the Neighboring Phase, and the Final Showdown (intra-group matches).
• The “Dummy Pivot” Strategy: For odd-numbered leagues, the DFM eliminates the “bye week” disadvantage by upgrading the system to an N to N+1 model. By strategically placing a “Dummy” placeholder, the algorithm balances the competitive rhythm for top and bottom-tier teams.
• The Reserved Match Concept: High-stakes encounters (e.g., Ay1 vs. Ay2) are systematically postponed to the final week, ensuring that the championship is decided in the closing moments of the season.
• Mathematical Symmetry: The model guarantees perfect venue symmetry (home/away balance) by the season’s end, while strategically sequencing matches to peak in difficulty.
